The Empanada Spot in New York

"Take out fried Empanada. I used to need to go to Queens to get these. Many varieties from pepperoni pizza,(my favorite) to Philly steak all the ones I've had were terrific. Three stars on atmosphere due to takeout only. Very clean place. No disappointment here. Also dessert ones w/chocolate Give them 15 minutes to prepare the order as they're made to order. (Give em a few minutes to cool down.)"

"Got the Italian sausage, pernil, pepperoni pizza, and the chicken fajita empanadas and had them as takeout. Really great empanadas and really reasonably priced!!! Really great spot to go to for a delicious empanada. Next time: I have to try the traditional beef one."

Lots of flavors here ( see pic's), you'll know right away these empanadas are prepared by a well established chef with many years of experience! Inside this sparking clean little shop, it might be small, but in a tremendous way it has a very friendly and helpful staff turning out the best crispy, tasty empanadas around. They are nicely filled up too with all the goodness we love stuffed inside! Such a good Spot..."

"I’ve been craving corn shredded beef & potato empanadas for years! I always avoided going to Mama’s Empanadas because of the traffic and impossible parking, and after trying so many nearby spots, none ever had tasted quite right. I’m so glad I gave this place a try! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, it’s even better than Mama’s! Definitely my new go to spot!!"

"Can't get any better for a takeout place. The upside down brooklyn slice looked heavy but was surprisingly light, airy, and crispy. Pete shared his pizza science --- three-day fermented dough and in and out of the oven three times to get the perfect consistency. Fantastic all around. The eggplant stack? I think that's what it's called, is excellent --- light & crispy, not soggy."

"You walk in, and the place is immaculately clean. Absolutely spotless. The guys behind the counter were very friendly. The food is amazing to say the least. I got several different empanadas, and they were all delicious. Everything was clean, labeled, organized; which made it easy to distribute amongst my guests"
